Colin Meloy Sings Morrissey is a six track EP that was made in 2005. There were only 1000 copes where made and they only way to buy a cope was at one of Colin Meloy live shows that followed the release of the album. Colin Meloy is known for fronting indie pop band The Decemberists. The six tracks Moloy chose to cover where "I know very well how i got my name", "Pregnant for the last time", "Jack the ripper", "I've changed my plea to guilty", "Sister I'm a poat" and "Everyday is like Sunday". All the songs where played acoustic.

I only really enjoyed "I've changed my plea to guilty" the other tracks seemed to be missing something whether it was the fact that the tracks had been striped down or the fact Morrisseys voice was not on it i don't really know. I would like to say that the only thing bad about this album is that Morrissey is not on it but i can not. This album is missing something. Colin Meloy's voice is boring at best.

With only 1000 copies released you may find is very hard to track down. You may be able to find a copy of this floating around on the Internet and it is worth a listen just to hear Morrissey tracks recorded a bit different.
